One doesn't need a magic tool to discover and log onto an open network.Wireless technology has grown tremendously over the years.

I don't see this tool as being any better than using the OEM Windows tools for scanning for open wireless networks. Easy WiFi RADAR did NOT find the original network I had permission to log onto, but was not broadcasting the SSID. I couldn't surf the web, which is odd, since I can surf just fine if I join any of my networks through conventional Microsoft means. My computer kept freezing up every 10 seconds for about 10 seconds.odd behavior. At least the AP logs showed that my PCMCIA card was no logged on to the AP. Once the card was whitelisted Easy WiFi RADAR did appear to join the Access Point. I decided to whitelist the WiFi card and try again.

Easy WiFi RADAR tried to join my network several times to no avail, because the particular PCMCIA card I was using was not whitelisted on the MAC address filter list.
